The important part is that you know which is the root.Ī common structure is C:\\Android\Sdk\ or C:\\Android-Sdk\ as the root folder name.
Additionally, this folder can be inside any other folder. I named the root folder Sdk, the name does not matter.
Folder structure is important for this to work, since you will need to navigate to the root Sdk folder within the application, It will then look in \tools\bin\ for the sdkmanager.bat file that is included with the command-line tools. Folder structure should be C:\\Sdk\tools (if you chose C:\\). Extract the zip file to that root Sdk folder. Create a root Sdk folder somewhere that is easy to find C:\\ is a good place. Go download Android Sdk Command Line Tools. More information about adding Java to PATH can be found here. After installation add Java to your PATH. This Program requires the Android SDK Command Line Tools and the Java JDK ★ Already have a valid Sdk installed and Java JDK? If this is too risky for you, there is always the option to clone the repo, and build the exe on your own system :D You may get a warning, because the cert used to sign is not widely known. Download and Install the latest Release. If you have been using the Sdk Manager that is included with Android Studio, this should look and feel pretty familiar. When it's done, click the "Gradle Console" button on the bottom right and you should see a line at the end which says, "BUILD SUCCESSFUL". This will take a while, and it will require network access to get some additional files which aren't included in the SDK. Find the "ftc_app-master" directory where you unzipped the FTC SDK, then select the "adle" file and click OK. Run Android Studio again and choose "Import project (Eclipse ADT, Gradle, etc)". After the installation has finished, exit Android Studio. 
Click “Install 4 packagesâ€, then click the "Accept License" button, then click Install. Tools -> Android SDK Build-tools, Rev 23.0.3. 
Click "Deselect All", then click the checkboxes to add these items:.In the dialog which appears, click "Launch Standalone SDK Manager" At the "Welcome to Android Studio" screen, choose Configure -> SDK Manager.Close the FTC SDK project (if it's open) and re-launch Android Studio so that you are at the "Welcome to Android Studio" screen.
